The seat cover replacement procedure consists of the following steps: 

  • Remove the old vinyl 
  • Place a new vinyl with a heat gun and stainless steel staples
  • Secure with seals

Types of the Seat Covers

Seats that have simple shapes require stretching a vinyl fabric on it.  I use special 4-stretch Marine vinyl which is available in 2 colors: Black and Gray. 

Seats with sophisticated foam curves require to purchase the cover in accordance with the PWC model.  Such seat covers have more color choices and 2 fabric types: vinyl and carbon-fiber.

Why to replace PWC Seat

Seat vinyl gets damaged from the sun and salt water.

Once torn, the foam gets exposed outside and cause much severe damage to the seat. The cushioning foam gets destroyed much faster than vinyl and it’s a lot cheaper and easier to replace the cover than to find another complete suitable seat in a decent condition.

How long does it take to replace a seat cover

Typically it takes 2 days to do the upholstery work. However, I have a busy schedule during the peak of the season (May-September). Thus, I work by appointment during summer time. Contact me for availability and schedule.

Before making an inquiry please follow this guidelines: 

  1. Prepare the seat. Make sure it’s completely dry when you bring it. Cover it from the rain and dry on the sun. 
  2. Decide which type of vinyl you prefer: just a simple one color or custom. 
  3. If it’s custom, determine the colors. 
  4. Contact me with this information for an estimate and schedule an appointment. Mention your jet ski Make, Model, Year.
  5. Custom seats will require a payment so I can order the fabric.

High quality special fabric. Best option for this quality and price. Comes in 2 colors: Black and Silver Gray. Fits simple shape seats.

The seat cover is sewn with custom shapes. Must match your jet ski Make/Model. Come in different colors and types of fabric. More expensive option, requires deposit, takes longer because of the delivery.
